The Robert Moore Story

        The Business was open in October of 1976 in a 3,000 square foot building as a sideline business, but gradually grew into a full-time operation with a Gift Shop and Nursery.

        After 3 years, the Gift Shop Moved to one of our local Malls. Hurricane Fredrick hit in September of 1979 and destroyed the greenhouse on Halls Mill Road , but did very little damage to the store building. After 3 years in the Mall we wanted to move back to our Halls Mill Road location.

        For some time I have a thought of opening a Christmas Shop here in Mobile, and in August of 1981 we Open Robert Moore and Co.,  Exquisite Gifts and Holiday Shop In that same year we continued the progress by moving the Gift Shop from the Malls back into the Halls Mill Road location by adding an addition of 1600 square feet.

        Two years later we out grew of 4600 square foot building and a new addition was planed and added, 8500 sq. ft. with soaring 20’ ceilings. Two year later we out grew this Building and a new addition of 12,500 sq. ft. was added, giving us a 25,000+ square foot facility. with endless Charm and Delight around every corner.

        As time went on Robert Moore and Co, Christmas Town grew with addition out buildings on the property, till we grew to out current size of over 35,000+ sq. ft. and Millions , and Millions of dollars of the finest quality, fashionable merchandise available. With over 30 + years of merchandising , selecting, and delivering to our customers the best quality merchandise, we are entering a new phase for Robert Moore and Company our E-Commerce Web Site.
